Screencasting with Quicktime

There were some students in the lab today discussing how to do screencasting. I heard one of the students say that he uses Quicktime and asked him about that. That motivated me to try it. You can’t choose the screen size like with screenr.com. However, you can always crop the video in iMovie.  You can select the location to save the file, and choose whether audio recording should occur or not. Here’s a quick screencast that I made (with no audio) to show the process.
